1975–2011 Un cuore rosso sul Gran Sasso
The artist’s 1975 film grew from Visca’s familiarity with the mountains around L’Aquila and his interest in local practices. Photographs of the filming follow the people, the journey and the carrying of the large heart. Later materials, extending to the documentation of 2011, show how the action continued to circulate through screenings and editions.
